Living in a world that still finds LGBT issues complicated can cause stress, stigma, and discrimination.  These can have real effects on our health.  Simply being gay, bi, or transgender doesn't cause health problems - but society's slow progress towards full acceptance can.   It's the goal of MCWC to improve the health, safety, and well-being of LGBTQ individuals in our area.  Important topics to discuss with providers are listed below.
